Q: How do I validate and redeem AvidDeals vouchers?
A: Access the official AvidDeals merchant portal, AvidVendors at https://vendor.avid.deals where you can gain access via your affiliated email address, or you can validate and redeem with rapid access before connecting your account. iOS and Android apps will be available in app stores soon!
Q: What if a customer wants me to redeem their voucher that instructs me to use the Vauchar app, or go to vauchar.com?
A: We have asked our customers to replace older vouchers downloaded or printed before our recent upgrade refer to the wrong app and website, but you can use AvidVendors to scan a QR or manually enter the code to validate vouchers without any issue. We built AvidVendors with intention to seamlessly take over for the old app, and we're excited to have control of how we innovate from here.
Q: Why can't I sign in with my own password?
A: When building AvidVendors, we prioritized getting an effective replacement for the old app, and passwords can be very insecure and a hassle, especially when shared between a team. We ditched the password so we could instead rely on email ownership to amplify vendor account security using one-time passcodes (OTP). Going forward, we would like to implement additional authentication methods, but for now we're sticking with login by OTP.
Q: How do I sign up for an account on AvidVendors?
A: AvidVendors accounts are invite only. AvidDeals account managers and your business leadership can invite staff via email. However, if you are an authorized representative intending to honor an AvidDeals voucher on behalf of a vendor, you may use Rapid Access from the login page to gain minimal temporary access to validate and redeem a voucher.
Q: AvidVendors says my account is disabled, how do I regain access?
A: If your account was created through Rapid Access or if it was flagged for potential abuse, your account will be disabled, stopping you from using AvidVendors features. Only AvidDeals administrators can enable a disabled account. Reach out to info@avid.deals or use the "Tawk" widget on the bottom-right of the page at AvidDeals to chat with support and have your account reactivated.
